CLUB INFORMATION: The Stingers Tennis Club, a branch of the West Virginia Stingers Sports Association, is located in north-central West Virginia. The Tennis Club was formed in 2006 by Coach Florin Marton.

Salem International University - WVIAC TENNIS CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS (From the WVIAC Website . press release) "..52 was the magic number for the Salem International men’s tennis team on Saturday, April 22nd 2006. The Tigers downed top-seeded Shepherd 5-3 at the Charleston Tennis Center to earn their first WVIAC Tournament title in 52 years. SIU’s upset victory also ended a 52-match win streak against WVIAC opponents for Shepherd. With this triumph SIU's coach Florin Marton, now has the distinct honor of holding a conference crown in two sports simultaneously, as he is also the Coach of the Tigers. 2005-2006 WVIAC Soccer Championship Team.."
